Known by many as ''The Lord of Deception'', ''The King of Demons'' and ''The Dark Bringer of the Elements of Disharmony'', evil-hearted and with a hearth black like pitch, Dark Illusion was created from the essences of the Elements of Disharmony (fear, dishonesty, treachery, anger, sadness, hatred and envy), with only one goal: to destroy forever the happiness in the kingdom of Equestria and turn it into a wasteland.
Ancient demon of laughter and deception, Dark Illusion reveals an opponent much more powerful than anything else that has threatened the peace of the magical dimension and its true form, according to ancient legends of Equestria, it proves much more dark and terrifying by the state in which it is locked up.
Long moons ago, he and Discord worked togheter to bring havoc across Equestria but soon their alliance was brief because they had different objectives: the Representation of Chaos just wanted to throw disorder just for fun, but the Lord of Deception wanted to destroy anything and with extreme cruelty.
His wickedness and his dark powers were so immense that very few, even the same Discord, dared challenge him, becoming king of all demons of the magical dimension of Equestria, but in the end, after an epic battle against the Two Sisters (so legends tell), his power was imprisoned by the Elements of Harmony, eternal antagonists of the dark elements.
Having been imprisoned by the Elements of Harmony, he shows up with a mysterious mask and wrapped in a dark cloak; he fears no one, thanks to its huge dark powers, but he only only considers a group of ponies as a tough obstacle of his plans: the Mane6.
